New York Street Wisdom, Volume 1: Men + Beer = Lots of Hugging

So it’s a salubriously solar Saturday, and I’m hanging with fellow tourist Barry Wagner, and we had just finished checking out the Guggenheim (for just $5 since it was mostly closed down as they prepared a new exhibit). As we’re walking down Fifth Avenue, a lady asks me if I know where the nearest deli is. I tell her I’m a tourist, and then she totally segues in to telling me all the cool places for tourists to go. Along the way, she begins explaining how wandering randomly can help you find the best parties and the coolest people, and then she says she has a theory about men and beer…

Now if you follow my blog, you know I’m going to video this sort of spontaneous philosophizing. So I present, in unedited (but compressed) form — a woman named Alexis and her take on the effect of beer on men.

To video the video on Windows, you’ll need the Quicktime 7 Public Preview Release installed.
