…is from “American Psycho“. Here’s the exchange between Patrick Bateman (played by Christian Bale), and his fiancée, Evelyn Williams (Reese Witherspoon):
Evelyn: I want a firm commitment.
Patrick: I think… ummm… that Evelyn, that uh, we’ve lost touch.
Evelyn: Why? What’s wrong?
Patrick: I need to engage in homicidal behavior on a massive scale… Cannot be corrected, but I have no other ways to fulfill my needs.
