$500 down, $610 to go…

I love seeing images like these…

I made the first donation to the American Red Cross of $500 to support vicitms of Hurricane Katrina. The donation went through my company’s matching funds program… so it should become $1000 in the hands of the Red Cross.

I’d like to thank all of my friends who contributed to my “Hurricane Katrina Mini-Mardi Gras” event — you all pledged $1110, and I’m matching it as promised.

Look for another posting when I can find another way to gather matching funds for the relief effort.
