Vince Young is the new-and-improved Michael Vick

Vince Young put on the greatest show I’ve ever seen in a college football game… and that’s saying a lot.

After watching Texas defeat USC 41-38 in the Rose Bowl, I’ve come to the conclusion that Vince Young is a bigger, stronger, and more athletic player than Michael Vick, who many regard as the Michael Jordan of football.

For one thing, Vick hasn’t won the big game… at the college or professional level. But when you look at the numbers, Young is bigger (6′5″ 233 lbs. versus 6′0″ 215 lbs. for Vick), and based on the way he was bowling over defenders in games, he’s a bit stronger. I suspect he’d also be the more durable of the two, given Vick’s problems with injuries.
