Yeah, it’s a dry, serious posting… but it’s important. If you’re apathetic on this issue, and you don’t actively spread the word and do something about it, then I don’t want to hear any bitching and moaning when ISPs start turning the screws on everyone the way the cable and phone companies already do. This is probably the most important issue regarding the future of our networked society because if you worry that the media is biased or that personal freedom of expression are limited, imagine what it will be like if your Internet Service Provider can dictate what sites you can see. To quote Morpheus in The Matrix, “Isn’t that worth fighting for…?”
