I saw this last night with Barry, Sarah & Jenny and it was an absolute blast! Highly recommended… but it’s a hard movie to describe without letting spoilers creep through. Let’s just say that it’s hard to imagine a movie about a beauty contest for little girls that can also make you laugh at:
- Suicide attempts
- Broken transmissions and flaky car horns
- Porn, both gay and straight (“Sweet Sweetness!”, says the cop!)
- Vows of silence
- Academic expertise on the subject of Marcel Proust
- …and transporting dead bodies across state lines.
