Less trash talking, but more fulfilling…

Poor Mr. Bear… I guess he’s disappointed. And no, I won’t “out” the person who created this video (or his his sister). Ahem. :-)

The Super Bowl has a time-honored tradition in my family… one of constant jibber-jabber and trash-talking. This usually starts with my sister and I picking opposing teams because it gives us an excuse to verbally abuse each other, and there is a ripple effect that usually encompasses everyone who comes to my place for the big game such that hilariously bitter exchanges occur siblings, cousins, and friends.

Sadly, since my sister wasn’t around for the whole game, folks had fun, but it wasn’t the same… Of course, that didn’t stop me from taunting a few Bears fans (including my niece Johntel and my nephew Braxton).

After all, someone has to teach them the proper way to earn penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct!

You can check out all of the photos here

I had the good fortune of having rooms already painted in the colors of the two teams. Orange, blue, and black for the Bears…

…and blue and white for the Colts.

Johntel: Portrait of a Bears’ fan in misery!

It looks like a bad episode of “The Dating Game” which Bachelors 1, 2 and 3 all looking like they’re going to disappoint our contestant.. :-)

Lori finds humor in my attempts to think. Incidentally, she is not a “screamer” during sporting events, and was one of the reasons we didn’t hit 110 db in the house during the game. Shame on you, Lori! Shame on you!

Sarah and Lori au naturale!

An impromptu post-game dance party broke out. I have no idea what caused this..!

I can only guess at what is going on in Krissy’s mind while she’s dancing…

Faux gangsta because, well, having a camera on me makes me misbehave!

My nieces are hilarious. I love them!

Jack, Krissy, Stephane, Colleen, and Lori came out for the game… You almost get to see how all the girls are incredibly callipygian.

They are about 1/3rd his age, but my nieces think Barry is a wonderful guy!
