Okay, surfing through iTunes looking for (ahem!) 80’s songs that I’m missing from my collection, I found this:
An album of Duran remakes? In the words of Keanu Reeves.. “Whoa!”
Specifically, they did a nice rendition of “Save A Prayer” which I think can hold its own against the original.
Heck, I also like this version by Mellow Toy, even though it gets a little “Linkinesque” (I kept waiting for Chester’s vocals to come screeching in).
But the best version? Well, my personal favorite remake of “Save A Prayer” is this one by Tony Corizia on the album Basswoodoo.
