No, not LeBron James, who eliminated my Wizards today. No, I mean Cirque Du Soleil‘s “Ka“.

Ka

Sure, it had amazing, moving, “interactive” sets and incredible gravity-defying peformances, but the plotline is tedious and coupled with music that is about as thrilling as a John Tesh vs. Yanni mashup, well, let’s just say that a few of us actually nodded off during the show.

That certainly didn’t help with keeping up with the plot lines and continuity.

So far, “O” is still the Cirque show to beat for me.

I Wish He Would Harm You

I tried to instigate a fight between my best friend and a Borg, and this is what happened…

***** EDIT ******
Fixed the link from the picture to the video. And yes, the discussion about Barry getting nanoprobed makes the video worth watching. :-)

It ain\'t over \'til the fat lady sings... Wizards win Game 5!

The title of this blog posting has a history with Washington basketball fans. Back when the Wizards were called the Washington Bullets, the coach (Dick Motta) would say “It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings!” to motivate the team (and the fans). When the Bullets won the NBA championship (1978) in seven games against the Seattle Supersonics, that quote seemed to be everywhere.
