Live music on Fremont along with the “Blade Runner-esque” light show? Check.
Was there a memorable birthday song at Hooters? Check.
Glad I’m home? Doubleplus check!
No, not LeBron James, who eliminated my Wizards today. No, I mean Cirque Du Soleil‘s “Ka“.
Sure, it had amazing, moving, “interactive” sets and incredible gravity-defying peformances, but the plotline is tedious and coupled with music that is about as thrilling as a John Tesh vs. Yanni mashup, well, let’s just say that a few of us actually nodded off during the show.
That certainly didn’t help with keeping up with the plot lines and continuity.
So far, “O” is still the Cirque show to beat for me.
